Guidelines to participate in #MakingIndiaBreathe Movement

Photo Signature Activity (Mandatory)

This is a mandatory activity for all participating schools corely to spread awareness and raising consciousness on need for Good Air.

Activity Description:

Classes: 6th-12th, Teachers and School Staff

This will be an IHW Council Volunteer driven activity.
The activity includes sharing of individual Photo signature of school children, teachers, and staff.
Total number of photographs will be approximately 400. 1-2 IHW Volunteer will visit your school on a pre-designated date and time for 4 hours.
The Volunteers will be carrying a Pledge Card and a Smart Phone
The Volunteer will reach as many classes and conduct a 15-20 minute activity per class wherein a photograph will be clicked of each student with the pledge card.

Alternatively, the activity can be conducted with multiple classes assembling at the school ground/auditorium/assembly area as per discussion with the participating school. 

The volunteer will also click photo pledges of all Teachers and staff members with the pledge card. 

Each school will get a participation certificate. 

Theme: Save India from Air Pollution 

Option 1: Painting Competition 

Group A: Class 1 to 4 Group B: Class 4 to 8 Group C: Class: 8 to 12 

Paper Size: A4 All types of colours, pastels, crayons, paints, etc, can be used. 

Duration of Competition: 120 minutes for Group A and B for 90 minutes for Group C 

Stage 1 of Competition: Intra-school Level 

  1. School to conduct competitions between 27th September to 28th October. 2. By 30th October Schools to deliver 15 best hardcopy submissions of the posters to IHW Council at the given address through courier or person, with name and class of the students for respective posters. 3. 5 Mobile/Digital Photographs of the competitions being conducted for each Group should be shared on the given number (8368123834).

Stage 2: Interschool Competition 

  1. The submissions received from all schools will be judged by an eminent Jury formed by IHW Council.
  2. Top 10 Winners will be intimated by 10th November who will be awarded during Good Air Summit.
  3. Selected Submissions will be showcased in the Good Air Summit.
  4. Winners will need to be present at the designated place and time on the day of the event.
  5. The school/parents have to arrange all travel to the venue.
  6. The schools need to intimate the teachers/guardians accompanying the child on the event day.
  7. IHW Council will issue an e-certificate for all students participating in the competition.
  8. Winners will get a certificate along with the recognition on the event day.
  9. IHW Council would have the copyright to promote the submissions of the children for awareness on Good Air.

Option 2: Jingle Competition 

Group A: Class 6 to 9 Group B: Class 10 to 12 

Stage 1 of Competition: Intra-school Level 

  1. School to conduct competitions between 27th September to 28th October. 2. By 30th October Schools to deliver 10 best Jingles to IHW Council at the given email address (makingindiabreathe@gmail.com) or on whatsapp (8368123834) with name and class of the students for respective Jingles

Stage 2: Interschool Competition 

  1. The submissions received from all schools will be judged by an eminent Jury formed by IHW Council.s
  2. Top 10 Winners will be intimated by 10th November who will be awarded during Good Air Summit.
  1. Selected Submissions will be showcased in the Good Air Summit.
  2. Winners will need to be present at the designated place and time on the day of the event.
  3. The school/parents have to arrange all travel to the venue.
  4. The schools need to intimate the teachers/guardians accompanying the child on the event day.
  5. IHW Council would have the copyright to promote the submissions of the children for awareness on Good Air.

Option 3: Street Play Competition 

Classes – 6 to 12 

Group Activity: (10-15) students Duration: max 5-10 Minutes 

Stage 1 of Competition: Intra-school Level 

  1. School to conduct competitions between 27th September to 28th October. 2. Each school will have to prepare a Street play of 5-10 minutes. 3. The video of the Skit should be shot and shared with IHW Council. 4. By 30th October Schools to share 1 skit video to IHW Council at the given email address (makingindiabreathe@gmail.com) or on whatsapp (8368123834).

Stage 2: Interschool Competition 

  1. The submissions received from all schools will be judged by an eminent Jury formed by IHW Council.
  2. Top 10 performances will be intimated by 10th November who will be awarded during Good Air Summit.
  3. Selected Submissions may be awarded showcased in the Good Air Summit.
  4. Winners will need to be present at the designated place and time on the day of the event.
  5. The school/parents have to arrange all travel to the venue.
  6. The schools need to intimate the teachers/guardians accompanying the child on the event day.
  7. IHW Council would have the copyright to promote the submissions of the children for awareness on Good Air.
  8. IHW Council will issue an e-certificate for all students participating in the competition.
  9. Winners will get a certificate along with the recognition on the event day.
